FLL (The First Lego League) is a joint organization established by FIRST (Foundation for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and LEGO Company. The organization hosted over 100,000 kids from 48 countries last year, and Turkey run was performed between February 27th and March 1st. This year, 80 schools competed in a competition jointly prepared by SmartKids Development Center, Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Department Of Industrial Design, and Creative Kids Foundation with KOÇ as the main sponsor. The 3-day organization took place in Feshane International Exhibition and Show Center. On the second day of the event, Koc Holding Board of Directors Honorary President Rahmi Koç paid a visit and examined the projects of the schools.

The subjects of the last day of the event were the finals and the award ceremony, and Private Istanbul College was ranked 1st with their stop-motion short film project about reducing the corbondioxide emission and alternative energy sources. The students of Private Istanbul College will represent our country in the World Championship at Copenhagen.
